14-day right of return

At NIVEAU Earplugs you have a 14-day right of return on items purchased in our webshop. The 14 days are counted from the day you receive your order.

Please note: The 14-day right of return applies to purchases made on or after 2 September 2026. Purchases made before this date retain the 30-day right of return that applied at the time of purchase.

If you wish to return an item, please write to us at info@niveauearplugs.com before the return deadline expires. We will then send you a return label and guide you further.

When returning, the product must be returned with the original packaging and all included parts.

As earplugs are a personal product used in the ear, special hygiene considerations apply. If the product is delivered with a hygiene seal, the right of withdrawal lapses once the seal is broken, to the extent that the conditions for the exemption in the Danish Consumer Contracts Act are met. If the earplugs have been tried – for example placed in the ear to test fit or sound – they are considered used and cannot, for hygiene reasons, be taken back.

Used earplugs are not accepted for return. For hygiene reasons, earplugs that have been used – for example placed in the ear – cannot be resold and therefore cannot be returned or refunded.

All returned products are inspected on receipt.

How to return your order

1. Write to us

Send an email to info@niveauearplugs.com within 14 days of receipt. State your order number, the reason for the return and confirmation that the product is unused.

2. We send you a return label

Once we have confirmed your return, we will send you a return label. You cannot buy a label yourself via the webshop – always contact us first.

3. Pack the item securely

Pack the product securely in suitable shipping packaging. The product, the original packaging and all included parts must be returned together. Please enclose a copy of the order confirmation.

Make sure the parcel is securely closed before it is sent back.

4. Send the parcel back

Use the return label we have sent you and drop the parcel off at the designated parcel shop.

You are responsible for the return parcel until we have received it. We therefore recommend that you keep your proof of postage and any tracking information until your return has been fully processed.

Return shipping

You pay the cost of returning the item when you regret a purchase. If you would like a return label, contact us at info@niveauearplugs.com – you cannot buy a label yourself via the webshop. A fixed return fee of DKK 55 applies for the return label, which is deducted from the amount you are refunded.

Refund

Once we have received and approved your return, we process the refund as quickly as possible.

Partial refund, quantity discount & free shipping

If you have received a quantity discount by buying several products and choose to return part of the purchase, the price of the products you keep is recalculated based on the price and any quantity discount that the remaining number of products qualifies for. The remaining amount is then refunded.

If your original purchase qualified for free shipping based on the order value, and the value of the products you keep after the return falls below the free shipping threshold, the free shipping lapses. In that case, shipping is recalculated based on the price of our cheapest standard delivery, which is deducted from the amount refunded – regardless of the delivery method you originally chose.

You can generally expect to receive your refund within 7-10 business days. It is often faster. The refund is made via the same payment method used for the purchase. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take a few more business days before the amount appears in your account.

When returning items purchased at a discount or on sale, the refund is based on the price you actually paid, unless a recalculation applies as a result of a quantity discount as described above.

If you cancel the entire purchase, the original delivery costs are refunded in accordance with applicable law. If you chose a more expensive delivery method than our cheapest standard delivery, the extra cost is not refunded.

When returning only part of an order, the original delivery costs are not refunded.

The cost of the return shipping itself is paid by you and is not refunded.

Condition of the item on return

The product, the original packaging and all included parts must be returned together.

You are liable for any reduction in the item's value if it has been handled more than necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function.

If the item has lost value as a result of your handling, the reduction in value may be deducted from the amount refunded.

For products delivered with a seal for health-protection or hygiene reasons, the right of withdrawal may lapse if the seal is broken after delivery.

All returned products are inspected on receipt before the return is approved.

The right of return applies to products purchased directly via the NIVEAU Earplugs webshop. If you bought your product from another retailer, you must contact that retailer regarding returns.
